SOE2025 Top Ten Rules – Kid-duro

  1. Pick-up your race pack (contains number plate, jersey, equipment marking stickers, time limit sticker, other race promo materials) EITHER on Practice Day, 11 January Saturday 0800-1600hrs, or Race Day 12 January Sunday 0700-0930hrs.
  2. Indemnity/Medical/PDPA Waiver Form must be COMPLETED AND SIGNED ONLINE by racer’s parent/guardian prior to going onto course. BRING SGD$100 CASH as security/damage deposit for collection of timing chips. Collect timing chips 45 minutes before wave flag-off time (see below).
  3. KNEE PADS, ELBOW PADS, AND FULL-FACE HELMET ARE MANDATORY, and must be worn throughout the entire course AT ALL TIMES.
  4. Kid-duro Flag-off Wave Times: 1000hrs (Male & Female: Cadet ‘A’) / 1010hrs ((Male & Female: Cadet ‘B’ and ‘C’). DO NOT BE LATE.
  5. Racers must heed all instructions by accompanying volunteer adult chaperones, medics, and staff on-course at all times. EVENT STAFF RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISALLOW A RACER FROM CONTINUING ON-COURSE if they are unable to keep up with their assigned wave to due unruly or disruptive behaviour.
  6. Racers must be self-sufficient – carrying their own water, food, and equipment needed to complete the Kid-duro course by themselves. NO OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE IS PERMITTED ON-COURSE. This includes caching/swapping/handover/passing of equipment, drink, food, or clothing for the racer by their parents/guardians, non-racing teammates, or casual spectators. 
  7. It is only permissible for racers to help each other, or for volunteer adult chaperones and other staff to be on-course and physically approach & assist them. Parents and guardians may spectate on the course but MUST NOT INTERFERE WITH THE RACE CONDUCT by physically approaching or assisting any racer without the explicit permission of staff.
  8. Racers MUST NOT LEAVE THE MARKED COURSE (both timed stages and transfer stages). They must heed directions from info signages, arrows, and marshals, or risk getting lost/penalised.
  9. Dismissal location 1: Fuyong Interim Park (Jalan Asas) 1130-1200hrs – parents/guardians may meet racers here. Timing chip handover and SGD$100 CASH deposit return can be processed on-the-spot here.
